Be a Super Friend!
Be a literacy tutor, membership coordinator, fundraising committee member, office help or a financial donor.
To do great work, you need tools. While blood, sweat and tears have built empires, the Tipton County Public Library needs community support
The Friends of the Tipton County Public Library is a 501 (c)(3) volunteer organization dedicated to the enhancement of the Tipton County Public Library facilities and services by encouraging community involvement, volunteer service, and fundraising while promoting literacy, learning and reading.
“If you teach a man to fish...” Education gives everyone the tools needed to be successful in life and reading is the foundation.
Today’s public libraries are consistently being challenged to do more with less—less money, less staff, and less time. Advocacy, the process of acting on behalf of the public library to increase public funds and ensure that it has the resources need to be up to date, is critical to the success of libraries.
